Terragong House and Dairy Farming in the Jamberoo Valley
Gail Taylor and Gary Marks talk about their family history starting when their great great grandfather John Moody Marks and his wife Elizabeth arrived in Australia as free settlers in January 1827. Gail and Gary share their memories of Jamberoo and growing up in Terragong House, which operated as a dairy farm from when it was built in 1858 until the 1980s.
This presentation was arranged by the Kiama and District Historical Society, introduced by the President Sue Eggins and Gordon Bell, who’s task it is to find presenters.
